The Sievering Surgical Clinic is committed to providing the most advanced preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic options for breast disease through a multidisciplinary treatment approach, nationally and internationally recognized clinical leadership, and a broad range of research initiatives.

The Breast Care Center, formed in collaboration with the Evangelical Hospital of Vienna, is designed to offer patients a new standard for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. The center is a unique breast care resource offering a comprehensive range of services.

One of only a handful of facilities with a centralized, multidisciplinary team, the sole focus of the Breast Care Center is the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Skilled professionals at the Center understand your needs and concerns, providing leading-edge care, including services that may be unavailable elsewhere.

In the effort to apply scientific investigation to clinical practice, physicians at the Breast Care Center are involved in a broad range of integrated research initiatives, the goal of which is to translate laboratory science into improved clinical outcomes.

As one of the few all-digital mammography facilities in the country, The Breast Care Center together with Dr Schwaighofer offers five digital devices, augmented by ultrasound and other imaging technologies, definitive and minimally invasive diagnosis via stereotactic or ultrasound-guided needle biopsy.

Treatment options include onsite chemotherapy laboratory and pharmacy, lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node mapping, and pioneering techniques in reconstruction and restoration.
